Children's Health
It's never too early to consult an acupuncture practitioner!
Service Description
Acupuncture can help with several issues that are common in infants and throughout childhood and adolescence. Babies can receive acupuncture treatments from birth. Children tend to respond very well to acupuncture because their vital energy is very strong at this age. The needles used are very fine, and the sensation is comparable to a tiny pinch that lasts a fraction of a second. The duration and number of needles vary depending on the age and individual needs of each child. Afraid of needles? There are alternative techniques for stimulating acupuncture points, such as magnets, acupressure, Tuina massage, cupping, or moxibustion, which can be just as effective! Here are the most frequent reasons for consultation: - colic - reflux - digestive problems - ear infections - colds/flu - weakened immune system - asthma - allergies - eczema - sleep disorders - anxiety and stress - lack of concentration - restlessness - various aches and pains - enuresis (bedwetting) - childhood/puberty transition
